I have been informed that our dear KinKs friend Tom Gallagher has passed from this life. Many of us new him as "TAG," from Philadelphia, PA. I'm sorry I have no other news at this time. Please keep him and his family in your positive Loving thoughts. Thank you for the Days TAG.. I will never forget your kindness, love and friendship.

Hello everyone.
I'm so glad you posted Sharon, I must have started 5 times on the grey baord and then just stopped. I'll post a longer tribute tomorrow, I just wanted to say Tom was one of my greatest friends on the forums, and that he was one of the most genuine people about, I'm so upset I will never meet him in person, because I feel like I have, many times.
I'm also glad this was raised in a board I dont post regularly in, because it has hammered home to me how silly forums and disputes look next to life. I hope as we all come to terms with the news, we can share our memories of Tom, because as Major Tag, he was one of the funniest and most upbeat people I've known.
He broke the mould, and I know many people will be devastated by this. Tom Gallagher will never, ever be forgotten.
Bless you ALL
Davy

God bless you, Tom! I feel so very grateful to have met you. I will never forget you, Kevin, myself, Sharon, Caroline, Tom & Mia rockin', singin, and smiling at each other while pushed up against the stage at those 2 incredible nights at The Vic, in Chicago. your wit, wisdom and musical talents were always enjoyed. I also must thank Tom for all the kindness he showed to me with the troubles I've had dealing with my parents illnesses. My Dad went to heaven last night and I like to think he will meet the wonderful guy we all knew as TAG. God bless them both!!!

Wow. I'm just very depressed about this news. TAG was a great guy. I'm going to definitely miss him. Same with mia. He was one guy that she was always messing around with. This just sucks.

God bless you TAG
Even though I'm not much of a regular user of the boards, I always noticed your posts and they often made me smile

This is devastating news. To see anyone go from this life in the middle of it is a question to which there seems to be no answer. I have not yet met TAG, but I know I will at the end, whenever that is. Thank you for the pics Smiles. Rest in peace, Major..

This news just devastates me. I remember meeting Tom at that first bitterly cold afternoon waiting outside of Irving Plaza -- what a fantastic guy. His wit and snarky sense of humor really helped to make the time fly. His music totally blew me away as well. I grieve that he never was able to release an album to the general public; SUCH a talented songwriter and gifted guitarist. But my fondest memories of Tom are the late night posts he used to make when his heart was just bursting with affection for all the friends he'd made in Kinkdom. Love on you FOREVER my dear friend.

I'm shocked and saddened, what a tragedy. Although I didn't know Tom, he seemed like such a nice person. I've been upset since I read this.
