If you see my profile, you'll notice I'm enjoying my football on Saturday. I'm talking the round football type and I spend Spring, Summer and Fall watching the greatest US soccer team ever, DC United. In the winter months, I tune into England Premier League games. I'm not a fan of any of those teams, per se. But I do enjoy watching the games.
Anyone else?

Nic, that's David Beckham, he used to play for Man United and Real Madrid before moving to L.A. Galaxy. He's married to Victoria Beckham, of Spice Girls (and Ugly Betty!) fame. He's recently been dropped from the England squad by the new manager.
Gorgeous looking bloke - but then you hear him speak and it's such a let-down! ;d

;D Can't have everything, I guess. A funny voice would kill it for me, though. I think voices are very important. Take Alan Rickman, for example. <ahem>

Yesterday, the US team drew with their most hated rivals, Mexico in a 'friendly.' We were lucky to get the draw. Our defending was terrible. Clint Dempsey, who plays for Fulham, had a goal called back.

Ladies - we may have to move this discussion over to the floozy zone. Ray was reared an Arsenal fan. I tried to link one of those Google maps with directions to show the distance from Muswell Hill to Arsenal's stadium, but I just got a ton of html stuff. Guess I might need to read up on that a bit. Anyway, the new Arsenal stadium is about seven miles from Muswell Hill or N10. The old stadium would have been closer by half, but it was replaced by the bigger stadium last year.

Tomorrow I'll be watching the battle of the American goalkeepers - Everton vs. Reading. Reading travel Merseyside and try to get a point or three and escape from the relegation zone.

Clint Dempsey, who plays for Fulham, had a goal called back. In football, when this happens its called having a goal "disallowed" Im a lifetime football supporter, by the way, having been brought up in North London a Spurs fan (Arsenals deadly rivals!). I changed my allegiance to Newcastle United when I movd there for the first time in 1987, and have followed them ever since. ;D
