Hahahaha, Liverpool got walloped, nyahahahaha!
On the other hand, just watched my local team, preston North End, get kicked out of the FA cup by Portsmouth because they scored an own goal in the 91st minute. Muppets.

Since this is a Kinks board and the Kinks were reared Arsenal fans, here's the info on Arsenal for this weekend.
Arsenal travels to Birmingham on Saturday. Arsenal is in 1st place, Birmingham in 17th, just out of the relegation zone. I won't be watching this as I won't get the game on my cable system.

The Davies' brothers' team Arsenal managed to squeak a tie in injury time today in their home stadium vs. Aston Villa. The championship race is looking very interesting.

Second placed Dundee play the league leaders today; a win will put us level on points with a game in hand. C'mon the Dees

It looks like Fulham(ericans) sealed their fate today with a loss to fellow bottom dwellers Newcastle. I'll miss watching Fulham on TV in the US as their relegation to the Colaship seems almost certain now.
The Davies' brothers Arsenal have slipped into second place and face a daunting London derby match against Chelsea on Sunday. Go Gunners!

My team is Beerschot and it's the only team I'm with (except maybe AS Roma). Between this and 10 years we will be top in Europe

My hometown team, DC United lost their season opener on Saturday. Tomorrow we play Mexican team Pachuca in our region's version of the Champions League.

In honor of Euro2008, I have resurrected this thread. As an updated, the Davies' team, Arsenal, ended up in 3rd place in the Premiership and didn't win the Champions League. However there were two English teams in the final.
Fulham survived and I can keep watching it next year. Hooray!
Now, speaking of Euro 2008, pundits are calling for Germany to win it. I'm ok with a German victory, but I'd like to see Spain, Portugal or Sweden win it.
