I just got in the postbox a record where Ray Davies wrote two of the songs.
It is the country group Pilgrim, where Karin Forsman is lead singer. The
titel song is Harbour Girl, which Ray wrote + 1. The Record is also produced
at Konks studio with Ray as a producer. He also do background vocals (as
Karin does with Rays band) and additional guitar.

Hi folks, In the last digest I posted a request for people to come out

only plead "ambien affect"....sorry about the shameless plugging but that
stuff really does make me do off the wall sh*t; mostly associated with
food which I will not go into here. I promise never to do that again.

Dear Neil,
hope all's OK over there!
About that project of Kinks kompositions, I realised there's one
missing: "Tell Me Now So I'll Know" as recorded by Trihas & The
Tapes - first official release of the song. Search as I may, I couldn't
obtain the recording.
So I ask if you have it. If you don't, can I ask for it through the KPS
digest?

The Anthology club is absolutely fabulous, darling. The sound system is
fantastic. There isn't a bad (or dry) seat in the house. Great lighting.
You feel like you are on a movie set of a nightclub or something. Great
neighborhood, cheap parking. All the waitresses have been hired for
their.....abilities. Nothing bad can happen to someone who goes in there.
If you go in there, and you tell ten other people about it, you will have
good luck for ten days and not have to wash your car or flush your toilet
or....well, okay, enough. It's a great venue but comparing it to the El
Rey is like comparing Marilyn Monroe to Sophia Loren (I'm ageing myself here
I know). There's just no comparing. Both are ab fab. Hubba hubba.
