I'm quite sad. I'm actually going to be in Boston April 2-4th. I'll be in CT after to see my mom. I could have arranged things differently if I had known. Too bad no TX dates. Why do we have to be so far from the real world? I would have liked to meet some of you. I'm sure he'll be round here soon enough.

Canaan (not New Canaan where all the rich people live), near the MA border. My husband has a conference in Boston on the 2-4th, then I was going to take the train to CT for the weekend and fly home out of Hartford. My dear mother would be very upset if I didn't visit.
And I saw Ray at the Paramount in Austin in 06. It sort of re-energized my current Kinks obsession. He taped the ACL show the next night and I seriously considered trying to get in. After I saw the show on TV I was glad I missed it because his voice had been stronger the night before.
He'll be back, everybody loves Austin. And Ray, if your reading this....we have a great community here and lots of support for musicians if you are looking for a place to move to...hint...hint

CG, Canaan isn't that far from our place; we're in Bethlehem, just south of Litchfield. Cool!

I think more tix will open up, cd. Most shows lately seem to continually release bits each day/wk. If you get a better tix, you can sell yours on stubhub or nite of show prolly. I'm with you on Irving Plaza, though

OH.. we'll be dancing.. no doubt!!!! Sorry the pixie dust didn't work. I got onto the sight quick enough -- ans as soon as it was looking for tickets, I lost my connection! I managed to improve the position, for my family, slightly but.. looks like I may have to resort to STUB HUB

I was in the process of booking seats 11 rows from the stage via Tixmaster and the guy cut me off, lost the connection, whatever. After getting so -so seats online I called customer service, after a wait of about 40 mins, finally got to speak to a guy that got me 2nd row lft ctr mezzanine. OK seats, not what I was looking for though. I was on the phone prior to 12:00 noon and online at the same time, tix were flying away too fast. I have no idea how all those tix got sold so quickly. How do you guys always manage to get on the floor? I'd really love to know your secret. Hope others had better luck than me.
