Yes, something is up with this venue. Why the seats and bigger place with one show? Maybe Ray has some surprises for us. Maybe a choir, a rockin' band (perhaps a guest performer) and a show Ray will be taping for the future. I dunno, seems a little odd to me, no?

The venue in Chicago is also bigger, twice the capacity of THE VIC. It is also one night as apposed to two. It would be nice to see some of the footage form 2006

Direct orders from Blamo at CROW headquarters... Rose you have been assigned to rip the seats out of the Beacon before the show I was there recently for a They might Be Giants show, and the minute the band came out they told the audience: "This is New York, and we don't sit down for concerts in New York, do we?" The entire audience jumped to their feet and the show became a standing show. And at least we won't have to queue up outside the theater for hours this time!

Like, it was the only place Ray could get booked at such late notice!

Ray actually considered Terminal 5 a newer NYC venue...he asked me about it after the Tibet show and even visited the venue to check it out himself

That sound you hear is me sniffling! Our PAUL received his invitation today to join the National Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha. He's worked VERY hard in college to earn this honor. So why am I posting this here??? The last sentence on the invitation: Please accept our congratulations. We look forward to your joining us and to the induction ceremony on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Actually, he hasn't been able to confirm yet whether parents are invited. I cannot believe I am hoping that WE AREN'T... Geez...aren't there 365 days in the year? What are the chances of THIS??? And I've been assigned to rip out the seats in the theatre, too!
