Do you think he's flattered if middle aged women are throwing themselves at him? (or should I stop doing that)

well, ms.g dident exactly portray herself as an innocent teenager when she said she was sitting on the step drinking wine out of a cup! at 17 she's underage for a start, and i should add that what went for ray 30 or so years ago, probably dosent bother him that much these days, because at the end of the day, seats get filled anyway by people who really appreciate him and his music. and to talk about karin like that was uncalled for and extremely rude! she is a lovely lady and ray wouldent be with her if he dident love her. ms. g obviously thinks very highly of herself to think ray would "dump" his longterm girlfriend for her.

I was gonna stay outta this but you know ME! ;D I agree very strongly that Miss G erred in voicing her opinion of Karin here ('specially after her killer contributions to A Long Way From Home and Lonesome Train) . But come on, guys! Miss G IS just 17! Ya know what I mean? And the way she looked was probably WAY beyond compare ...remember how THAT felt? How often do we get to feel like Cinder- f***ing-rella? She was gushing from her over-the-top unexpected good fortune (and probably a hangover as well). While maturity (and sobriety)may have helped her better process and post the details of her evening, I think she just wanted to share her happiness with us...I'm around girls this age all day in school..they are enthusiastic, snide, often unkind, and yes, quite a bit full of themselves. GOTTA LOVE EM' ! Life in the real world will cut them down soon enough! I, for one, as a VERY senior Floozie (in AGE not tenure) would like to caution Miss G before posting again such negative comments as she did. But were I in her shoes at her age I'd probably be gushing about the whole experience too! Heck, I was once chased around by one of Cannibal & The Headhunters and I cherished THAT memory for months! ;D ;D Sorry if I sound too preachy...hard to leave the kids behind just 'cause its Friday afternoon! Yours in the spirit of Flooziehood

Rose well said, I think it is a version of puppy love and when I was 17 I hated Linda McCartney. (I don't now, I think she was a wonderful person) It would be what is known as immaturity. Cut her a little slack, she's a kid.
Thanks PM--ya know it wouldn't take much coaxing to keep me going.

I was NOT a happy camper when THAT wedding was announced! Of course, Linda became quickly a 'shero' to me. Yoko I always felt was perfect for John. But let's be honest...I NEVER stopped being jealous of either one! And I'm with you, nanc, and all of the other Floozies... age/schmage! Let's throw everything we've got at RAY! As long as we're dancing, he's GOTTA love it!

I think Ray is wise to certain people . I also think he probably has more dignity and respect for himself. He's been around a while!

Actually I think I was one....so it was kinda gross really. paul mccartney was only 27 when he married linda - so if you were 17/18 at that time - the age gap wasent huge - but ray's 63 nearly and although he looks great and is really fit for his age its does seem a bit disturbing that such a young person should be so obbsessive - just think of the consequences if anything were to come of "a peck on the cheek" i don't think ray would "come dancing"more like "did you see his name, in the NATIONAL paper"!
