People give us a hidden gem that you want to share with the world. Please?

Why for god's sake why can't people list a song that they really like that not a lot of people have heard, a hidden gem, that you are excited to share with the world, so we can download it and add it to our list of outstanding songs by our super knowledgable forum members. Why? Here is my pick for today. " Hurdy Gurdy Man", Donovan, Best of Live, with the George Harrison extra verse. An interesting and funny version. cool_dad98

Could you give more information of the album, or the year it was recorded? Thanks!
I'll say Jethro Tull - Budapest, their best song for me.

I enjoy the first album by the band Fat Mattress. Noel Redding was a member, and the song I enjoy best is entitled, Mr Moonshine.

Unsophisticated Time by Marti Jones. I don't know if you can get it in digital form, though.

Digital, digital, digital, helps a lot. Uncle I really like Mr. Moonshine nice choice, is there anything current that you like? Tull and Marti Jones 100 songs each and neither choice available for download. (figures hidden gems are hard to find) Did anyone check out Donovan?

"Good Times/Bad Woman" by Alan Price and the Electric Blues Band, from the album A Gigster's Life for Me. This song isn't actually Alan Price at all, though, but his bandmate Bobby Tench, on vocals and guitar. Thought some of you might enjoy...

MOONCHILD by Cibo Motto (Sean Lennon's other band) from the CD Stereo Type A A very Bryan Ferry type of song with a smooth Asian Songbird delivery

Smiley, I'm not sure about this one. Sounded like those sirens in those Rhodan, Godzilla movies.

Well, if you're interested in the Marti Jones song, I have a less-than-stellar-quality-burned-from-vinyl version I can email.

I saw Quintron and Miss girl thingycat (oops - part of the name was censored) open for the Black Lips last week and loved them. www.myspace.com/mrquintronThey reminded me of the B52's, but with a more techno sound. I think if they had a guitar, they'd really have a sound.
