I really have no time etc, go in to any great lengths about anything about our last week with Life the Road with Ray, except that Ray should be extremely proud of the group of fans he as assembled over the years because they are second to none not only as fans of him and the Kinks, rock & roll but as the greatest people I have ever met. I have met so many old friends and new ones and ones that I didn't even know I had over this past week it's hard to describe...but hearing Ray doing Imaginary Man had tears streaming down my face just thinking about it....
I have and owe so many thank yous to people for being so nice to me and Andrea at the shows, buying us drinks, giving us presents ( from Chimay posters and Tshirts, ect ), and just being super nice people I wouldn't know where to begin so for now due to lack of time I am just saying THANK YOU TO EVERYONE, I MET AND SPOKE TO! Hope we meet again someday, spend some time together. I was also glad to link up and connect a lot of fans together who knew of each other but never met, and also even got a few personal messages to Ray from some of his friends who could not be there or talk to him for one reason or another....( Paul Z. the artist....Ray really was excited to hear you were there, he wanted me to come out and bring you back to him but couldn't find you? )
Six down and One Big One to go....NYC, where the best Ray/KinKs shows and audiences usually happen!
btw SF still holds its own on being a super crowd, ,but Philly and Boston squeaked out victories so NYC better be ready to ROCK Tuesday night...Unfortunately I may not be in the first row to lead the army in to battle down Salvation Road...
