Five days, eight venues and over 80 artists
Music maestro Ray Davies joins the latest names for the 2007 BBC Electric Proms
The BBC Electric Proms today confirmed more artists who have been added to the bill for this year’s five-day event. The festival, dedicated to creating new moments in music, is taking place in Camden, London from 24th to 28th October with tickets going on sale this Wednesday, 12th September at midday.
There will be more than 80 artists performing in total. The following bands and artists have been added to the bill today (in bold) with more to follow:

Across the week, new artists and bands that have been championed via BBC networks and local radio stations will also have the opportunity to perform at the festival. These include:

BBC Electric Proms is about more than just live music performances. The festival will also be screening a number of new and classic works including films from Sigur Rós, Daft Punk and The Flaming Lips. There will also be a new film on Bob Dylan and an exclusive screening of The Beatles' Help! which has been digitally remastered in anticipation of its first ever DVD release.
