hi, does anyone have any information about The Kinks concert / performance from 1997 (Dave Davies 50th birthday)? 1. Was there only Ray and Dave? Or the whole band? 2. Has anyone been there and remembers what they played? 3. Are there any photos, audio or video recordings? If the whole band performed, then why is around 1996 considered to be the end of the band's activity and not 1997? At the end of the music video "To the Bone" there is a board with the date 1997,
an additional two-disc extended version of "To the Bone" seems to have been published in some countries only in 1997, I have such a date on my copy as well. Also the Spanish CD promo single "You Really Got me" which promoted 2 CD "To the Bone" comes from 1997. Regards Michael

I hadn't heard that Ray played music in public with Dave on his birthday in 1997. As far as I knew, the Davies brothers never played together in concert after the last Kinks concert (that Martin mentioned above) until Ray showed up at Dave's concert on December 18, 2015 to play "You Really Got Me". And nothing since, as far as I know.
