i'm going to see one of Canada's better Pink Floyd cover bands (called Comfortably Numb) perform in November. i hear they put on a good tribute. i enjoy tribute artists because there's just so much love in their work.

I hear you, amy. It truly is a Labour of Love with some of these bands. Are you in Canada?

Do you know Ron Sexsmith? Some of us just saw him in concert last weekend and I've got him on the brain.

yes i am familiar with his work. i don't own any of his albums, though, nor have i attended any of his performances. i do remember when he first hit the Canadian music scene - i saw him perform on television and i remember thinking he would go far. he is a deep songwriter.

Saw Van Halen last night, they were pretty good. Eddie Van Halen is an awesome guitar player. It was fun.

He looks older, but he still looks cute-he has shorter hair. The funny thing is that he still makes the cute little faces he used to. He is just an awesome guitar player, I was in awe.
