Great Uncle! I think you'll especially like Singles Going Steady! Please let us know what you think when you've had chance to have a few listens to them both! Currently listening to Singles Going Steady by The Buzzcocks. Its a great album and an excellent band. When i ordered the album, one reviewer said they were punk with some psychodelia, and that sounded great to me! I am VERY pleased with this CD! Whoo Hoooo!!! ;D I knew you'd love 'em Uncle!!

Oh yes! I love that 'trip' in the song too. That touch of psychodelia really pushes the Buzzcocks to the top of the punks! Plus the harmonies are fantastic!

I'm so glad that you're enjoying those new Buzzcocks CDs Uncle!! I thought you'd enjoy 'em! By the way, don't you think that the poppier songs on Singles Going Steady (What Do I Get, Promises, Love You More etc) are quite similar to early-ish Beatles stuff (kinda like the stuff you'd find on Help! A Hard Day's Night albums) in simplicity, lyrics and sing-a-long-ability? (I think I made that phrase up! )

OOoooohhh, I'm jealous. I loved them. Peter Asher was my first Rockers Wtih Specs love. (Or was it Chad Stuart?.....) Anyway, P & G were brilliant. I saw their reunion concert 7 years ago, before Gordon died.

Yea, it's a good compilation. Best I've seen. You're lucky to have seen them, too. They were very good.
