When I was five, I became so obsessed with Batman that I often refused to take off my costume. I used to perch on the cupboard counters so that I could leap onto family members as they passed by. I'm sure that I was a pill in other ways, as well.

What's changed? Do you mean to say you no longer do this? ;D I loved Batman until I discovered the Green Hornet. Then the caped crusader was no longer as cool. Even as a young kid, I was always drawn to the more dark and dangerous heroes or anti-heroes. . I have to admit that Batman was much funnier.

You would have loved my 3-D Green Hornet ring. I think I got it from a cereal box. Yes, the Green Hornet was very cool, but Batman was my hero. I saw the show in my twenties and was startled by how hip and funny it was. I took it to be an alternate universe with very safe driving habits. (Batman always made Robin buckle up.)

I remember there was an episode where they were chasing criminals and the bad guys ducked into bar. Batman stopped chasing them and lectured Robin as to why an underage boy such as himself should never go into a bar. It was just great ;D.

I was partial to Mr. Green Jeans. Tall, gaunt, old-looking...er, make that aging gracefully.

And Nic was Nic even then... When I was five, I became so obsessed with Batman that I often refused to take off my costume. I used to perch on the cupboard counters so that I could leap onto family members as they passed by. I'm sure that I was a pill in other ways, as well.

They do say personalities are basically formed at about that age. Scary.
