Couldn't wait downloaded off of itunes. After my second listen my favorite choon is definitely "One More Time" and I have to say this album is very good. I cried during the "Morphine Song" and "One More Time" and I wasn't even drinking (Merlot). A lot of subtle, hidden melodies that take a little time to unfold. Very nice to listen to, not one annoying guitar riff or lyrical gaff. P.S. - Blamo your mate is an neaderthal, no offence.

I'm halfway thru and have cried twice (The Real World is killin' me! ) so for me & cooldad98 and any others who may be joining us... ps...I think the lyrics & vocals are kick-a*s thruout!

To me the holy trinity is "Imaginary Man," "One More Time," and then "The Voodoo Walk" -- the flow of those three songs is unbelievable. By the time I get to "The Real World," I feel like I've been around the world. This album is just so heartfelt and honest, without a single note of posturing.
I'm still sorting through how the themes of the various songs come together. I know Ray said in interviews that this album was going to be about America, but I'm not sure it is. Maybe it's all about globalization...

In that promo vid, RAY says it's all about relationships & L-O-V-E! I think it is, in its many forms ...I also think there are lots of references to the complicated issue of Dave Davies
