I consider U2 an Irish band. Along with Rory Gallagher and others. I think Joshua Tree and Unforgettable Fire are very good albums, but not all-time top five caliber. I don't like their past few though.

Ummm...yeah, U2 are Irish, NOT British! I'm all about our Kinks as well...with Abbey Road & Sgt. Pepper in the mix. Welcome, wally!

My top five - and I will list a artist only once.
1 The Beatles - Abbey Road (or Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, The Beatles...) 2 The Rolling Stones - Beggars Banquet 3 The Who - Tommy 4 David Bowie - Diamond Dogs (or Ziggy) 5 Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Sorry, no Kinks yet. I've just recently become a fan. Right now I'm digesting Village Green Preservation Society. Very, very good I must say. Growing on me every day. But not top five of all time... I know a lot of people dislike 'Diamond Dogs' and I can understand why, but nevertheless I love it. My favourite Beatles changes monthly. Same with the Stones - I also love Let It Bleed and Exile on Main St. Tommy - what can I say? although been listening to 'S.F. Sorrow' lately, the 'first' rock opera...
