Didn't think I'd steer you guys wrong.. That would be a good one, 7even year itch, 4 u2 NB & RoRo! REMEMBER, like the KinKs, I'm CS HARD CORE! I'm thinking about it, since you and Holly both seem to agree its a great album, not to mention that the boys aren't too hard on the eyes. Here's a great shot of Joel Will on Base and Dean the Dream on guitar hubba hubba

Man, what a cool couple of weeks since our release. It feels good to be loved. Thanks to everyone for supporting this band, we are so appreciative. Something to remember when you're purchasing our new recording is not only are you giving love to Collective Soul but you are helping to change the music industry. It's so liberating to be an INDEPENDENT band and be Top 5 on iTunes. We would have been 25 on Billboard's Top 200 if they would have let us report but because we think outside the box, make our own rules and are only sold at Target and iTunes we're on the Comprehensive Chart instead. Go figure!
Anyway on tour next week with Live and Emerson Hart (who, by the way made an incredible record – go get it). Come see us out on the road and let's have fun! Thanks again and may peace be with you!
Ed

I'm still baffled by this marketing strategy of theirs. If they are contractually limited to selling only at Target anad iTunes (which, by the way, don't seem to be repaying the favor by promoting them very hard ) how does that make them MORE independent?

I was a little bewildered myself at Ed's tactics but I guess it's working As long as the boys get paid and I get at least 2-3 concerts a year... IT'S ALL GOOD!
