Does anyone know if the later Kinks albums -
Think Visual UK Jive Phobia To the Bone
are going to be re-mastered and re-released?

I cannot answer your question with any definitey kingsley; perhaps someone else can! I would say that because of their lack of commerical exposure originally and their kronology in the Kinks kanon, they would most likely be the last to get such reissue!
I have had Phobia since the day it came out in 1993 and the 2CD version of To The Bone for many years and the sound quality on those is excellent. I think that would be a common occurence for albums released after the late 80s. I guess it possible that those could be upgraded in sound quality, but it would be any extras tunes and packaging that would be the biggest hook!

Some logical bonus tracks would be the songs from the "Did Ya" EP, which I believe is hard to find by now. But I agree with bamajohn1 that the later recordings are less likely to be reissued because the sound was better to begin with. I know that was the case with the Beach Boys reissues -- they included only the first of their titles to be released on CD, not the three that followed.
