From Bruce MacQueen -- Monday @ aprox 3pm CST.
I am devastated and heartbroken to advise you that my wife of nearly 30 years and mother of our three wonderful daughters lost her long battle against septic shock and died today at 56 years of age. Two more horribly serious issues developed overnight eliminating any hope for her recovery. Her mohter and the girls and I were all at her bedside when her heart stopped. Everyone is doing as well as can be expected. A large hole just opened up in our lives which will cast a long shadow forever. We will let you know when a service is scheduled. Please do not send flowers!! We are trying to think of a suitable charity. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement and support. I got a notice today from Olga, that our wonderful friend in KinKdom Bruce MacQueen's wife (Denise,) is Terminally ill. She is in dire straights right now following complications of Chemo-Therapy. Please, even if you don't know Bruce, send his family your positive thoughts and prayers for healing. She is in need of a Miracle! Neil O. has posted this on Dave's Healing site and a message will also go out on the KinKs Digest. May god bless them and all of you who pray for our dear freinds in KinKdom. Fondly, Smiley

Bruce and Denise are among the great Kinks fans -- I last saw them this fall when they came up from Washington DC (where they live) to enjoy the Do It Again film with us. Whatever my prayers can do!

Sorry to hear this news I will certainly keep Denise and her family in my prayers. Hopefully, we'll have a miracle and she'll recover, but if not, I pray for comfort for her family.

Thank you so much everyone. Bruce is a dear friend in KinKdom. I will let him know of this thread on his FACEBOOK. It will mean so much to him and the family, in their hour of need. God Bless you all so much. Bruce is pictured in the middle with the Blue shirt on. This is a photo of us, KinKdom dwellers, enjoying a night out in London 2007, for Ray's show at the Royal Albert Hall. Attachments:

Bruce is a kind man, and Denise is a very sweet person as well. And their daughters are way too young to have to go through this. They certainly deserve a miracle if anybody ever did.

Denise is hanging in there, but the situation is still critical. Any more prayers you all can muster would be appreciated, I'm sure.
If any of you are Facebookers, there's an event page called Get Well Soon, Denise! where people are posting messages of support for the family. The more people who post there, the stronger the fight.
