Excellent. Still sticking with the April 5 release date, I see. (Man, it seems like that's an awful long delay.) Too bad they had to dredge up the old no-news news about a reunion in order to pitch this. Too bad they misspelled Pete's name, too!

I'm still wondering WHY they delayed the US release of this CD. Are they going to completely re-package the release for the US market? I would think a simulations release, before the holidays, would have benefited US sales. The no-news, reunion news -- gads, talk about beating a dead horse!

I heard some talk that they might package it with a DVD of the Imaginary Man TV program. Now that would be an upgraded package worth waiting for!

It was a nice set of re-made songs with the artists that were chosen -- or some chose him! LOL. I too would love to have that show as a DVD.
I'm hoping the packaging will be different, just so I can have "something else" to ponder over in the Kollection. Mind you, that photo shoot was PERTY nice for the UK release.

Nice to see Ray is getting so much press. I know that many Kinks fans have been critical of Ray for doing this "pandering to the masses" album, but I wonder if all those high-profile "guest friends" are the reason why this album is getting more attention than Ray's previous solo albums. If so, it was a shrewd move on Ray's part.

It was a strategic move to regain market share and to make himself heard.
Now the time is right for a new album with new material.

I've even heard this album mentioned on the radio! After a Bon Jovi song yesterday, the DJ mentioned that they appeared on Ray's new album. So it has certainly penetrated the public consciousness in a good way.
