the following is from Chris at Konk Central on the offical Ray forum, about Ray's readings this past weekend in Wales...
" Ray's readings at the Laugharne Festival went very well in deed and he was the highlight of the festival. Laugharne is a tiny little old town out in West Wales and the home of Dylan Thomas. The first reading was in the very tiny boathouse of Dylan Thomas which only fit about 20 people at the most. Ray mostly read from X-Ray and sang a few songs. We met Mick Jones from the Clash outside with his old roadie Johnny Green. Mick read the night before and was supposed to be with his old drummer Topper Headon but sadly Topper's mom had passed away just a few days before.
The evening performance was about 90 mins and much more reading from X-Ray but with about 10 songs played and ending with Days. Songs included Dedicated Follower of Fashion, Waterloo Sunset, Dead End Street, Tired of Waiting. This was one of Ray's first solo shows in a very long time and I thought it was fantastic as did the packed audience."
