Today, on a long car drive, various Sirius XM stations played:
Dead End Street Till the End of the Day Around the Dial Sunny Afternoon Little Miss Queen of Darkness
And the DJ even spent some time discussing why Ray pronounces their last name Davis while Dave pronounces it Davees.
A bonanza for the Kink-inclined!!

In Spain music it is like politics a real sh*t.
I do not usually listen to music on the radio. In Spain the whole music is "Actually/From Today" and it all sucks. There are no good music programs as before. Although I do not need the radio to listen to music. Fortunately I have a lot and all I want to listen to my original CDs. Moreover I hate listening to pirated music. I love listening music with their original formats.
On the other hand listening to The Kinks on the radio it is not easy, as I put before in Spain there are no good radio pop / classic rock. Always sound the same groups and the same songs of bands like The Beatles, Queen, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Eagles, U2, Scorpions and little else ....

I think that’s a problem worldwide – real good music as we call it can still be heard on fewer radio stations. Today’s music has become shallow.

Not on the radio, but on network TV -- the show Last Man on Earth just featured "Shangri-La."
