I'm still working on which Kinks song to draft. Today's list of options includes Sunny Afternoon and Dead End Street.
My list now includes Johnny B. Goode - Chuck Berry Moondance - Van Morrison
Someone grabbed Your Cheatin' Heart from me.

I may try to kill two birds with one stone - What's So Funny About Peace Love and Understanding as covered by Elis Costello. If not that, then Ragin' Eyes.

Yikes. I just went out and bought several original pressing vinyl records at a used record store that's going out of business. The original pressings were not being sold at a reduced price.
On top of that, I bought the Best of record that my brother owned and that I listened to while wearing said striped bellbottoms noted in my sig. Fortunately, that only set me back $2.

I really planned to play Days at the party I went to tonight. Somehow, I didn't get around to it. There were two major Kinks fans there. One brought a Kinks mix cd, but the host's cd player can't cope with homemade cds. I had several on my very tiny (500 songs iPod) that got played.
We discussed various albums and our favorites. My remains Something Else. He's an Arthur person.

Given the people I'm competing against, I'm probably the only one who'll choose a Kinks song, so I figure a I have plenty of time to decide on which one to select. A lot of Pink Floyd songs have been chosen.

Sounds like you got some nice items at the record store, SV. The party sounds as if it were fun too.

And some are indicating I didn't pick the best Kinks song. For me, it's like splitting hairs. Here are the responses:
This guy needs to go to therapy.
That's me adding to the discusson.

It's a soccer discussion board with a music subforum. We do these draft thingies where people pick their top ten albums, etc. but you go in order and can't pick something someone else has chosen.
