Hello Smiley and All!!
Wanna thank the Smiley Lady for taking the time to post all the pics! Trust me, the pics tell the story, we had a blast!! As usual, I've had to work insane hours since returning home and am just now having some time to post. (Yet I'm still at work) Tell Kev I've yet to listen to his CD but that will be happening over the weekend. To Nicotina, Wakeup, Lefty/Richard, Kevin, Sharon/Smiles, Alba/NR, Krankie Frankie and Andrea, and let's not forget Mrs Bones, and everyone else I've forgotten to mention (the names used were remembered via a photo in my wife's camera - a sort of cheat sheet mind you, needed because of a damaged brain - ) to ALL you guys and girls : if anyone on this planet has any doubt that Kinks fans aren't the best in the world - if you can prove it to me, then I will eat this computer!! Put that in your smoke and pipe it!!
Love to you all, bones

as usual, Smiley has outdone herself with the pictures. they are wonderful! what a blast to see Smiles, Rich, Kev, Frank, Andrea, Bones, Cheryl, Wakeup, Nicotina, KinkCan & friend and everyone that was at the KPS gathering in the pub. the Elephant & Castle was packed and Kevin led the sing-along on a guitar, Wakeup provided, decorated with cowboys & space ships ;D Bones...you are too much fun!!! it seems we were all meant to meet someday. the show was really something. the audience was on their feet from the 1st note and stayed up throughout. you could truely feel the energy between the band & the crowd that night. they really rocked and were particularly loud which was incredible when the were jammin'. so fun to see the plates flying again IM, Mr. Lennie, Luis...we thought of you! I feel blessed & grateful to know you all. NR xo

This came off the digest today.. plus my links are up with additional fotos!
First set: I'm Not Like Everybody Else Where Have All the Good Times Gone Till the End of the Day After the Fall Well Respected Man (in which he flubbed one line, saying "father goes to meetings while mother pulls the maid" ... or was that deliberate?) one line of I Need You (in response to paper plates) Harry Rag (very short ... clearly, this is a case of "planned spontaneity") The Tourist (wearing Union Jack jacket ... added extra verse: "in the French quarter danger lurks ... 'give me the money!'") Celluloid Heroes (short ... only movie star mentioned was Greta Garbo) Working Man's Cafe Apeman (short) 20th Century Man
Second Set: (acoustic ... Ray sat on a stool; he stood the rest of the show) This is Where I Belong In a Moment One More Time Vietnam Cowboys The Real World No One is Listening (end of sitting section) Sunny Afternoon Come Dancing (the keyboard player used an accordion, which was very effective) Tired of Waiting Set Me Free All Day & All of the Night
Encore: Low Budget (pranced around the stage like some outrageous poof ... it was delightful) Imaginary Man (with singalong on "imaginary") Lola
Second Encore: You Really Got Me
