Hi there folks, FYI for those who know about the awesome unheralded band Plastiscene (and their later offshoot Skylab). Roger Gisborne was the frontman, and I just discovered he put out an album in 2012 called Before The Music Fades. It's more acoustic/less heavy than Plastiscene, but if you enjoy his voice and style you may dig it. The entire album is up on Youtube and you can download it on Amazon Roger Gisborne on AmazonHere is my favorite song from it.

Glad y'all liked it, just trying to help promote an artist that never got what he deserved. I hope everyone here is doing well!

Thanks porimz. I never dreamed I'd see an update on Plastiscene here. The link you provided is blocked by pcmatic security for me, sadly. I'll mention this to Tim who started this thread!

Not sure why, Bandcamp is a popular site for indie artists, kind of like SoundCloud and Discogs combined. You can search them up on Google, but I'd understand why that might make you nervous if it was blocked. Either way, their posts on Facebook and Instagram hint at new music coming out soon, so I'm excited.
Also, it was never mentioned, but there was another band that Gisborne started: The Local Division. They have one five-track post-punk EP on Spotify (Pure Electric Light) and he uses the pseudonym "Ian Christian." It's the first names of his two sons, and Christian actually has his own band, Velvet Starlings, which is how I learned about Plastiscene in the first place - they were releasing albums before I was born. XD Roger co-writes with his son, and it's similar to Plastiscene, Beatles, etc.
