I've just started a 3-month trial of Apple Music streaming service (free for iTunes users). So far it seems pretty clunky, but maybe once I figure out how to navigate it, I'll like it better. My initial biggest gripe: There don't seem to be an awful lot of playlist choices. I don't like having a single artist playlist -- really, I don't need this service to suggest a "Kinks Deep Tracks" list or "Intro to Nick Lowe." So the "assorted artist" playlists had better be well-curated. Also, they're displayed in a vertical scroll, so it's not convenient to shop around. Plus, there were only 2 lists offered when I first signed on. Everytime I open it, there are 2 more, but this doesn't seem like an efficient way to hunt for music. Is anybody else using this? Any tips or advice? I'd like to think that it's unsatisfying because my taste is so finely tuned. But I suspect that's not fair. It would be nice to discover some new artists, after all. But the playlists I've sampled so far are mostly stuff I already know.
