But as the world keeps getting worse, the Kinks' songs may have aged better. That's an interesting theory. Care to explain a bit more?

It is as if they ask you, who loves mom or dad more, because this is what happens to me with these two bands.
In this case I don't usually vote for this kind of thing, I think it is absurd. I LOVE The Kinks and I ADORE The Beatles and recognize how great they were and the amount of extraordinary works that these geniuses left us. The Kinks Forever!!! The Beatles Forever!!!

I deliberately abstained from voting. It would have been absurd.
The Beatles and The Kinks projected something larger than life. As a matter of fact they are larger than life!
Those two bands still yield continued brilliance!

There are things in life that have no explanation and these are one that I can not say if it is this or that ... They were and are so great musically that I feel very proud to take them with me for a lifetime. Although I have not taken any album from them for years. So being able to catch them with more force and with more desire when listening to their huge discography.
