 Saw Peter perform at a local county fair FOR FREE last nite. REALLY fun show...DID DANDY!!!  Now that he's raised enough funds to purchase a mobile chair for MIKE SMITH (Dave Clark 5) he's aking for donations to purchase an accessible van so MIKE isn't so housebound. The first link is to Peter's site explaining the request. The second is for PAYPAL information and getting a message to MIKE himself. Really very generous of Peter to be talking this up at all his shows and I know RAY/DAVE/KINKS fans will rise to the occasion. A good cause! Not only Peter Noone is involved, but several of the old Brit Invasion artists; I went to a benefit concert for Mike where the Zombies, Peter & Gordon, Billy J Kramer, and Denny Laine performed. They did some great covers of old Dave Clark 5 tunes. Mike Smith was the main reason the DC5 were big; he had a great voice (and was really cute in 1965 -- from pix I've seen he still qualifies for the cute aging British rocker category).
