Great news! I'll definitely jump on this. But I only started listening to solo Dave with "Fractured Mindz," so I have a lot of backward exploring to do as well.

Gary, Ive been in the process of exploring Dave's music for several years. His solo work is both beautiful and innovative. Bottom Line and Transformation are brilliant live albums.
AFL1 3063 is a five star album, as is BUG. Now, the gentleman to ask about BUG is Inaki, for it was his recomendation that turned me onto it.
Kinked, Anthology / Unfinished Business, Chosen People, all very good.
The Aschere project, released about a year ago is another winner, and innovative!
One thing Ive learned about Dave's music is that the more you listen to it, the greater it becomes!
After listening to Dave all night, off and on, I awoke and felt I had experienced an epiphany, a realization of the deeper meaning of the lyrics of When You Were A Child. I believe the lyrics have meaning related to Daves spiritual beliefs.

Although I have everything by the Kinks and Ray's solo stuff, I admit that I've still yet to get hold of some of Dave's albums. I currently have - Live At The Bottom Line AFLI 4036 Glamour Bug Kinked Fragile (from the Meta Media Demo Series) Unfinished Business (Kronikles) Hidden Treasures I'm Not Like Eveybody Else (live bootleg.) Love them all but the one I listen to most often is definately AFLI 4036 - totally rockin' album! Next most listened to is probably Kinked, love the version of Death Of A Clown on it, and some really tender and beautiful songs on it too

Looking forward to a new album by Dave. Hope it´s in Bug or Kinked-style. I´m not much for new age crap

I take it that you didn't like the Aschere Project then MrL? I never bought it, and still haven't heard it.

In an interview with Andrew Sandoval in the November edition of Record Collector magazine, Dave says has a working title for his new album - "I Will Be Me". He goes on to say that the sub-theme of the album is about being a misfit, but celebrating the fact. Really looking forward to it!

Interesting. That has been a consistent theme throughout Dave's life, hasn't it? That title suggests a defiant tone -- perhaps he'll be rocking out in full force!
