Indeed he does And here's a photo of Ray and Bill at the Gateshead show on the 2nd - And me and Ray after the show (shame he kinda has his eyes half closed in this pic, but the lovely Susan got some pics of me and Ray too, and has promised to send me them at the end of the tour ) The Gateshead show was really fun. Ray was quite amusing ;D A few times when the audience laughed he cracked up a bit and would take a few seconds each time to compose himself before talking again/introducing the next song. I've been lucky so far as I've mananged to get stuff signed by Ray at both shows, also Ian Gibbons signed a flyer for me after the Gateshead show. I managed to get a setlist from the Gateshead show (will take photo and add it at some point!) but for now I can tell you that Ray played the exact same set at Manchester and Gateshead. The songs were as followed and in this order - This Is Where I Belong Autumn Almanac Dedicated Follower Of Fashion In A Moment See My Friends Sunny Afternoon Dead End Street A bit of Victoria, then Ray reads from X-Ray 20th Century Man Till The End Of The Day Where Have All The Good Times Gone? I'm Not Like Everybody Else Waterloo Sunset Lola Muswell Hillbillies Oklahoma USA Misfits Full Moon I'm Not Like Everybody Else (Instrumental) All Day And All Of The Night Days I have some lovely fan photos too but I'm not sure it's right to post 'em without getting permission from the other folks in the photos.

Hey Sleepy! It was nice meeting you in Manchester and Gateshead. Thank you for letting us in your (formerly Ray's) LOLA! The RAH gig was fantastic! Beyond description. Paul Weller showed up to sing Waterloo Sunset with Ray. I witnessed it in the front row.
P.S. I got Ray's discarded beer bottle ;D

Hello Tourist! I take it that you are back home now? It was great to meet you in Manchester and Gateshead too - and I'm am still in awe of your cool Kinks jacket! Ah, your welcome - seems right that Lola should give lifts to Kinks fans Oh, I heard about Paul Weller turning up at the RAH to sing Waterloo Sunset with Ray!! How cool, I wish I could've been at that show, I'm glad you had such a great time! And you got Ray's beer bottle!? How cool is that!? I still have Ray's flowers that Tracey gave me, they have all started to open out and look lovely - although my cat has nibbled a few of the leaves

It seems that all the fans have really been having a great time at these UK gigs, both during the shows and after. It sounds as if Ray has been enjoying them too! I'm so glad you got his beer bottle, Tourist! And Sleepy, those flowers will brighten your flat in more ways than one!

As made it to the Royal Albert Hall and had a great time. Then again, I don't think there's been a Ray concert that I haven't enjoyed! There were no "new" songs but we were treated to Muswell Hillbilly, Oklahoma USA, Misfits and Full Moon. Paul Weller showed up and did Waterloo Sunset with Ray. It was okay, but it didn't quite work - I think it was perhaps a little unfair on Paul to dive straight into that song, maybe they should have done David Watts first. I think Ray is a little "competitive" at times - after Paul left, he said something along the lines of "how do you follow that", and then promptly turned in a blistering performance of Lola, which had everyone on their feet! I've posted some clips on youtube See My Friends, with Bill Muswell Hillbilly & Oklahoma USA Full Moon Waterloo Sunset with Paul Weller Waterloo Sunset without Paul Weller I also took a few pics, but I was quite far away, so they aren't particularly sharp Here's one of Ray and Bill And one of the band I also have fairly decent audio of the show up to Days, so if anyone wants a copy please get in touch

Thanks so much for the video clips, Chris -- those were really fun! I particularly enjoyed the Muswell Hillbillies rendition. Who is that other guitarist?

I'm so glad you got his beer bottle, Tourist! And Sleepy, those flowers will brighten your flat in more ways than one! I've personally had a great time at both shows I've been too (seeing Ray again tonight ) and it does seem like Ray's had fun too! Holly, Ray didn't give me the flowers, he gave 'em to Tracey and she game 'em to me - very sweet of her! I guess it would've been hard for her to carry them from hotel to hotel, and then back to Amsterdam. They are lovely, and everytime I look at them I smile

Thanks for your report on the RAH show Chris! I'm glad you had a great time! I've been reading mixed reviews about Paul showing up, but I wasn't there so can't really comment! So cheeky of Ray so say ''How do you follow that?'' and then go straight into Lola!! ;D I've loved hearing Muswell Hillbilly, Oklahoma USA, Misfits and Full Moon too I hear that you also got Celluloid Heroes and A Long Way From Home at the RAH too, is that right? I can't see your photos though
