If you like Peter Gabriel era Genesis well you will like Citizen Cain. Be warned, the Scott Walker and Sunno)) album is not the Scott Walker you will know. Sunn)) are a heavy metal drone band who are an acquired taste, they play very slow very very heavy music, I love thrash metal and death metal but I realize it is not everyones vup of tea.

Glad you like them Martin, they are a Scottish band who sadly split up a couple of years ago but Stewart Bell, who was in the band, has released a couple of excellent solo albums. The singer used to get very annoyed when people compared them to Genesis but to me they are very like them and that is a big compliment. The only band that come closer to Genesis is an Italian band called "The Watch" who even cover Genesis songs on their albums and tour playing Genesis albums in full, I do like Citizen Cain more though because they take elements of Genesis and use them in their songs and The Watch are really just a copy, although I still like them.

I just came across Stewart Bell's "The Antechamber Of Being" (Part 1). I take that it was conceived as the first part of the Bell trilogy? Were the two remaining parts released in the meantime?

Part two was released last year and he is still working on part 3. I always find it frustrating that groups like Citizen Cain can release 6 excellent albums and still exist in complete obscurity
