Well that's obviously fine PC; but I did sort of give you a little info on Sanford and Son; it's the one that spunoff of Steptoe and Son! There was even an episode of Sanford and Son that featured Steptoe and Son !

Well PC you would sure enjoy them! All In The Family is based on Til Death Do Us Part. I didnt know that sanford and son had Steptoe and Son on one of its shows! Thats cool! It's been a long time since I saw that one but it seems like Fred and Lamont; maybe some of Fred's crew visited the set of 'Steptoe and Son'. It seems like they may have been there under the idea that Steptoe was patterned after their lives and they were giving opinions of it all; Fred liked it whenever the father put the son down like when Fred says 'You Big Dummy' to Lamont ! I do remember a lot of witty barbs going back and forth between the two families! 'Good Times' was a fantastic show about every day life in a black family. I think Janet Jackson made her acting debut on there. JJ 'Dyno-miiiiiiiiiiiitttttttteeee'! 'One Day At A Time' featured Michelle and John Phillips daughter MacKenzie and the future Mrs. Eddie Van Halen, Valerie Bertenelli; still looking amazing today, by the way !!

I loved it when Fred Sanford said "You big dummy." He put such scorn into it! Their humour was a lot broader than Steptoe's, but it suited the American audience. Before the TV audience fragmented, it was nice for a change to have a show about black characters that white people would watch. Nowadays it's as if every viewer has his or her own niche.
