Nicky Hopkins was a famous pianist known for his session work. He played on many Kinks Stones and Airplane recording sessions. In addition, he was a member of a California band for about two years and that band was the Grateful Dead.

I think Nicky Hopkins never played with the Grateful Dead but had a stint with the Jerry Garcia Band.

The working title of the Rolling Stones' "Dandelion" was "Sometimes Happy, Sometimes Blue" and was already recorded in 1966.

Thank you, Uncle - you are correct, it is a fact! "Sometimes Happy, Sometimes Blue" was indeed the working title of a song that later would be renamed "Dandelion" and be released as the B-Side to the Rolling Stones' "We Love You" in August 1967. The demo was first recorded in November 1966, had completely different lyrics and was sung and played by Keith Richards. You're up!
