The Lady in Black always seems to do well. From what she has told me most venues sell the tickets directly to the fans, as apposed to the way it is here. We get the leftovers. Well, I have some good news. After trying for 4 hours on Friday, I was able to get my beloved son a ticket in the 5th row just to the left. Today, after 90 minutes of intense server troubles and logging on and off, I managed to get me and Lefty a pair, 13 rows back, in the centre aisle. This was a good Day! "STUFF IT" all you scalpers with your double to triple pricing!!!! JOG ON! ;-P

Yes, it was a struggle, but I did NOT get seats at the back, like last time. (I had no idea that row "F" was NOT 6th row. ) Seems the Chicago has triple and Double letters that run up first! The 6th row is actually BB.

I got a ticket for Montclair tonight. Row D -- but I think that theatre only has one extra AA row in front. I could be wrong. It's on the aisle, too. I like being on the aisle for Ray shows so I can get up and dance.

Thanks, Holly and Uncle Son. That one is called Rotating Screech. Ray told me my get-well cards helped to lift his spirits, so I feel like screeching more than ever.

I don't know if this is the best thread to ask this, but anyone can tell me if the tickets for ray davies's concerts are easy to buy in the day of the show? Because I want to travel to USA (I'm from Brazil) just to see Ray, but I think it's hard to buy the ticket in internet. I hope someone can understand me lol

It's easy to get a ticket on the internet, WS, so long as you have a credit card. The problem is getting a seat in the front rows. Usually Ray's shows do not sell out completely.
