This is a video that me and Mia (mainly Mia) put together for Tom. Most pictures were taken by "Smiley". If anyone else took one of these pictures please take credit for it. This thread could be a place where we remember TAG. Please share your memories.

I really had nothing to do with it, it was all Mia. She didn't want to take credit for it. And thanks to Sharon for posting all her pics! I think it's pretty moving. Especially towards the end. I only wish he would have reached out to us or someone.

I posted a comment as wa69, but I want to reiterate what a beautiful and moving tribute this is and to thank Mia, Sharon and TomT for creating it. I always wrote off Tim McGraw because I have it in my head that I don't like country, but this song is so gorgeous and heartwrenching, I am going to look up more Tim. It really was the perfect choice for a song. Thanks again, especially to Mia. Speaking of tributes, Tom will be included in today's healing session on the Dave Davies board. Dave had contacted Tom before back in March and it meant the world to Tom. Dave wrote: I didn't know Tom but it sounds so tragic. I will put him on the list and please know that Tom and his family will be in my prayers. For Tom's family, there is a growing tribute for Tom on Dave Davies's board as well. www.davedavies.com/messageboard/viewforum.php?id=2I'll never forget hearing Tom play "Creepin' Jean" at Dawson's Street Pub in Manayunk, a neighborhood in Philly. When Tom got up at the end of night and kicked into this song, EVERYBODY got up and danced.

Thanks for the kind words Ro Ro. I loved that song from when it came out a few years ago. It's beautiful.
Our hearts go out to you and your family. I can only imagine how torn up you are over this.

no one even noticed the merest hint that this is going to happen? Tom never dropped any hints that he is going to kill himself or anything like that?

Franzie
Often when someone decides to take their life they seem happier and more at ease than ever. It is because they have made the decision and feel a sense of relief. You often won't see really overt signs.
I think the best thing at this time is to remember Tom and to hope that he has found peace.
