yes, Nic6, dogs can have allergies. I think you know, I have a mini long hair doxie. being a hound, his nose is always sniffing the ground and we live in the land of the highest pollen counts. over 6000 this year when 121 is considered very high. has to do with the pollen particles they measure in the air. anyway, the dog does sneeze & will get sick if you don't treat it. he snores sometimes too ;D

Poor doxie. Yes, I remember you had one, but hadn't thought about how much they sniff the ground. My friend's doxie spends her time here either sniffing the floor or smothering us with affection. She may be little, but she's a whole lotta love.

Pizza Capital of the States? Only if you prefer your crust thick... I've had decent pizza in London, at several places. It's just different from Chicago or New York pizza, that's all. Actually it may be closer to the Neapolitan original -- thinner crust, less topping. I myself prefer a wood-burning oven becos it makes a thin crust a little crispy, but like I said, it's all what you're used to. I was shocked in London to find ham, pineapple, and sweetcorn used as pizza toppings, but once I tried it I had to admit it was tasty. In London, as far as restaurant chains go, PizzaExpress is usually fairly decent... www.pizzaexpress.co.uk/or Zizzi's www.zizzi.co.uk/
