That's why we remember the good old shows so fondly!!

I so agree, guinevere!...and my cable station now carries about 8 different-language stations but no BBC America!! I'd watch nothing else...Thank goodness for Netflix. Frank...Always watched Floyd here at the shore...he used to hang out at the Pony a lot as well.

I do get BBC America and it's loaded up with stuff like Footballer's Wives and Cash in the Attic. I have to assume there's better stuff on the beeb than THAT.

I'm thinking it's 24/7 of Upstairs-Downstairs, The Six Wives of Henry VIII, Absolutely Fab, Vicar of Dibley, & KINKS documentaries?

This Wheel's On Fire was the theme song for Absolutely Fabulous. The guy who sings it was also on a series about a nasty lot of students living in a squat, called The Young Ones -- I bet you'd love that one, Frank.

Coincidentally, the actor who played the punk character on The Young Ones is married to Jennifer Saunders, who wrote and starred in AB/FAB.

And Dawn French is married to Lenny Henry, right? He's very funny in that series where he plays a chef -- what's its name?
