I came in and said hi to you, Nic, but you didn't reply for a long time so I left. Is the chat room haunted?

No one's missed out.
When the Americans get their copies of WMC, I'll organise a universal WMC CHAT! slot.

I haven't even got my retail version yet!
Pre-ordered 12th October. Paid for first-class delivery. Amazon still haven't dispatched.
With any luck, I'll get it by the end of the week. Then I'll organise a chat!

I think Sean means a scheduled time for people to log on together, Franzie. Of course we can all log on whenever we want to for free-form chat!

Hi Everyone,
I'm new here but I've been a big Kinks fan since I was about 15.
Doe's anyone else think that there couldn't be a better time for The Kinks to re-release Shangri-La?
The song was a warning back when it was released for what we're going through now. I don't mean this as a 'I told you so' sort of thing. I really think it may work as a bit of a wake up call. And new people will get to hear the truly wonderous music of The Kinks!
Shangri-la as Christmas number one....if we can make it happen we can prove that a great song really can change the world....a very English revolution!
