My poor puppy Dusty was diagnosed with Diabetes this week. :-( She's been a lot happier since she started her Insulin but I hate having to stick her twice a day. ^..^ Oh, no, poor Dusty! I'm glad they've got a diagnosis. But how sad!

At least you know now, Dusty could have got very poorly if it went undiscovered and she didn't get insulin. It must upset you a little to inject her but eventually I'm sure she and you will get used to it. The main thing is that she's happier probably because she feels better.

Yes, I hate having to stick her, but the insulin needles are very small and barley hurt her so this makes me feel a lot better about giving her her treatments. It's a slow process right now she's still having trouble with her bladder and drinks a large amount of water. The doctor has already increased her dosage to counteract the problem. This has also speeded up her cataract in her left eye. I pray this doesn't make her go totally blind. For right now she still has some sight in that eye but she's going to be a frequent flyer at the Vet's office -- much to the dismay of her, the family and my pocket-book. Thank goodness we have a wonderful vet who really cares about her and all of us as her loving family. She's seen her go through quite a bit in her life. I'm very fortunate to have such a caring Vet and Hospital that take payments!! ;D

Smiley, so sorry to hear about Dusty being diabetic, but I'm glad she is feeling better now that treatment has started. She is lucky to have such a loving family as yours. And NapUp what can I say, but isn't Flapjack the Cat's Meow! And quite the ladies man as one can see by that last winking photo.

Wakeup, Flapjack is adorable! Thanks for posting his picture! My favourite is the last photo, the one where Bub said he looks like he's winking! He has nice markings too and looks rather friendly!

Wakeup, I only just realised that you live in Austria when you mentioned Thüringen, I'd never heard of it and had to look up where it was!
I'm not suprised Flapjack is a ladies cat, that cheeky wink says it all!!

Here's a picture Of Donny taken a few days ago. I think he looks funny when he sits like this! He's showing off his paw tufts again and his big belly. I hope you all don't mind me posting so many pics of him - he's just so photogenic!

Donny's quite an elegant gent. We're actually in Germany, near Weimar. Thüringen is also a German state.

Flapjack and Donny are very handsome Kitty's, indeed. I'm sure My girls Ellie and Teazer would love to hNd out with these lady killers! Teazer does have a crush on our next door neighbours cat, Diablo. She regularly leaves him treats on the doorstep. =^..^= Dusty is a little better but I'm still very concerned about her health going forward. Thanks for all your well wishes.

So I guess English isn't your first language? You sure wouldn't know! Like our very own French speaking member Kinkcan, your English seems perfect to me! Thanks for the compliment about Donny, but he sure didn't seem elegent when he was wretching in the hallway this morning! Luckily no hairball emerged, he must be saving that delight for another day!

Donny gets himself into enough trouble without chasing the girls though! ;D I'm glad that Dusty is a bit better, but it's undestandable that you're concerened I know I'd feel the same if it was Donny.

Like our very own French speaking member Kinkcan, your English seems perfect to me! No apologies necessary. A lot of Germans wouldn't know it, I think. I speak 1.5 languages, English being my first. Or, American, that is. I hail from the great 48. Plus two. I tell people I'm over here because I mistakenly took the wrong bus. Most reactions to that are like 'Huh?' - got to keep it fun. Anyway, it's nice to know that someone thinks my English is perfect. I can barely order a beer in German.
