I knew a midget who was diagnosed as myopic, but I thought the diagnosis was a bit short-sighted.

Here is an old standby I like to repeat every now and then when I might be in danger of getting a big head! Someone told me the other day, 'John you sure are kind... As a dimple started to show on my face... 'I just don't know what kind'?! And my brother really does send jokes that are a little blue, he sends them to nearly everyone he knows so they're not meant specifically for me. I keep reminding him that I am his sister and not just one of the lads that he drinks with in the pub! Some of them are quite funny though! Sleepwalker, I guess it's kind of de rigueur for a brother to be a bit rude and sort of sassy to his sister growing up but I'm not sure it's common to send blue jokes to your sister in my experience (although I don't have a sis'). So I could see him being rude but maybe not so blue to you !

I've lost interest in apathy... It seems people have become accustomed and almost apathetic to the loss of interest and the depreciation of assets! But that's the good thing about self deprecating humor ! The more you tell it, the more someone else appreciates it! That one was meant especially for Martin!

I'm glad this thread has been revived too John! I apologise for subjecting everyone to my corny jokes, although my brother was responsible for most of them! I love "corny" jokes. In fact, I like most jokes other than the ones making fun of people in a cruel way. I welcome all your jokes Sleepwalker, so don't be shy! Thanks Tim! I will try and think of some more soon !

My bro has a feature on his phone that means his text messages go to multiple recipients, I think they go to practically everyone except our mum! Sometimes I'll say - 'Did you have to send me that joke the other day'? And most of the time he doesn't remember he's sent me it!

Imagine if Democratic Congressman Al Franken teamed up with conservative TV personality Ben Stein. FrankenStein anyone?

News shows will proffer just about anything as a big story. For instance, Nightline once had a story about a guy knocking over a bunch of shoes in the mall. Yes, Ted Koppel covered a Ked topple.

If Magnum PI had a child, would he be a son of a gun?
