It's the Old Grey Whistle Test logo. I was a bit young for it but it was a great show in the 70s and 80s sadly now defunct. Hosted by 'whispering' bob harris who a) got hit by one of the sex pistols because he was an old hippy (I'm guessing that was their reasoning. Bit over the top whichever way you look at it) and, more amusingly, he took a custard-pie in the face by Ray in their Christmas show live at the Rainbow '77. I love that particular gig - I remember buying it on ebay until it got uploaded on youtube. Rare footage. Can't beat it. Have you seen that youtubed black n white interview with Ray in Australia in 71. Fabulous clip.
