Well, DUH. If that is the cover, I like it. I like how Ray and his reflection look totally different. That smile is very enigmatic.

Part of the photo shoot? Orrrrr the final product? Would be interesting to analyze the use of reflections by photographers when their subject is RAY. I'll always prefer the leather-look to the denim-look but that's just me.

I'M Being a bit critical here.. but the contrast seems to too deep. The right eye doesn't look right I'm hoping the final product is softer.. but not his character lines. I love that he's showing them and the grey at the temples.

anyone know what happened to the art that was commissioned(i've forgotten the artist) which is why this cover surprised me...?? I see your point Smiley...that's also why this didn't seem like the final product to me... Trying to identify the architecture...anyone know location of shoot? US or UK??? (PUH-leeeze don't tell me Nashville! )

The shops, as I have been told, are at the end of the block that KonK is on. I didn't recognize it.. but then again I've only been twice. I think I remember reading that RD had comissioned a watercolour painting from a pretty famous artist.. which escapes me as well. I'm sure the info is buried here somewhere. I looked at his work on the website -- I was impressed. I do like B/W fotos! I believe a few of us hid out in one of those doorways from the lovely english rain hoping for tea and biccies.

You can't mean that Ray would plan one thing and then change his mind?
