I heard Animal Farm on one of the Sirius stations yesterday! Can't remember which one but I don't think I ever heard that before on any radio station!!! Makes you realize what crap is on the radio 99% of the time
My girl Meg played Nick Lowe singing "What's So Funny 'Bout Peace Love and Understanding" today -- then mentioned that it was a live recording he did in the studio while she was interviewing him. Methinks Meg has a teeny crush on Nick.
Holly will be subject to punishment from the crows if she mentions Nick on this thread again and crows know how to punish naughty floozies ;D we learned it from experience at the hands of floozies everytime we were bad crows

The only time I hear the Kinks on the radio is when it's a well-known song of theirs (such as Sunny Afternoon). When I think that there are over 400 extant Kinks' songs, it makes me furious that they're (by certain radio stations, anyway) relegated to "the oldies." Grrr...
I was listening to a 60's prog where they were playing different tunes with the same name. Wasn't paying too much attention until they played "It's Alright" I've no idea who the first band were - didn't recognise the song at all.
