Powerman, if you go to your profile at the top of the page and click on "Modify Profile" you can change your Time Zone to GMT+00. It was very annoying for me to have a different time until I found out.
No sign of Ray yet, but the man of the news sounds like the Announcer in PA2.

Quite liked The Sorentinos playing "The Ray Davies Song" probably wouldn't like it if it had been about anyone else though.

Listening to a BBC Radio 2 documentary about Bo Diddley last night, it was presented by Roger Daltrey and various musical notaries popped up and gave their opinions including our very own Dave. Nice surprise.

Not on the radio, but in the lobby of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, they were playing "All Day and All of the Night"." Down in the exhibit area, the video loop on which the Kinks appeared had a clip of the Kinks performing "All Day And All of the Night." (One piece of sheet music and an acoustic guitar of Dave's was it for Kinks memorabilia.) And the big film featuring all the inductees showed the Kinks playing -- guess what? -- ADAAOTN. You'd think they'd never done any other songs.

They Didn't? Yea... we saw that too last year. I am putting in my will, my entire KinKs Kollection, to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Kevin will see to it! Although it may be missing a few rare pieces

Meg is like my musical alter ego -- sometimes I can't believe it when she plays ten songs in a row that are all on my iPod.

I was watching the waves in Old Orchard Beach yesterday when I heard Lola played on a Portland station (Fm107,5).
It reminded me of the good old days in the 60's when I was lying on that same beach and Lola was a hit.
