On today's Kinks mailing list digest, Doug Hinman writes:I wanted to formally let everyone on the digest know that I am closing down the Rock 'n' Roll Research Press and it's accompanying web site as of tomorrow (Aug 31). I essentially decided a while ago, for many reasons, not to pursue publishing any further books and have been slowly selling off my remaining stock for a few years now. This will not affect any music-research or history projects, Kinks-related or not, which might come my way in the future, I simply do not want to be a bookseller anymore. I do still have a small supply of the Living On A Thin Line essay book by Tom Kitts & Michael Kraus (look for Tom's new book due out this fall from Routledge Books) and some of my All Day & All of The Night book. Dave Emlen has kindly inserted links in his web site to order these still via Paypal online (http://kinks.it.rit.edu/books) or by check or money order to me at: Doug Hinman PO Box 4759, Rumford, RI 02916) Once I run out of copies of the Kitts/Kraus, I am not planning on reprinting, so this is the last chance to get it. All Day & All of the Night remains in print and still available from backbeatbooks.com and smartly stock book stores :-) Many thanks to everyone who has bought my books over the years. I appreciate each and every sale and kind word that has been aimed my way. See you around! -- DougThank you Doug for everything! Life in KinKdom is so much more wonderful becasue of all your hard work!If you don't have any of Doug's books I highly recommend them! www.rocknrollresearchpress.com/past.html
