Even if by now Ronny is the only one who has said it openly.

Hence their cover of "Hot Potatoes" -- "Boiled, french-fried, any old way that you want to decide..."

I LOVE that song! But I really felt they sold out when they did this live a few years back on SNL and sang it as: "Boiled, FREEDOM-FRIED, any old thing you want to decide...."

I agree they sould out, but the general public loved it. On the latest issue of Rolling Stone there's a very interesting interview with Gert in which he says they are considering re-recording it with the new lyrics.
"We are considering re-recording it with the new lyrics", are his exact words.

There were many fans waiting for them over there. Janne signed a few autographs and had let some people have a picture with him, it's amazing how close the Gerts are to their fans.

You´re so right Iña. Sometimes Gert Jonny himself invites them in for coffee when they pass his house in Gertwell Hill.

Of course, but always after a good meal at a wonderful pub close to his home: The Gask.

Gert said in an interview that the whole reason they're touring is 'cause they love the COMMUNITY of fans that meet up at their shows....just like old times

He's touring Australia before going back to America. He was pictured with a kangaroo yesterday.
The kangaroo was a very big fan, he was wearing a Gert Jonnys shirt and asked Gert to sign his copy of Tivolilivat.

Gert is playing in Hampton Court with a choir, and there's a rumour saying he could play some obscure songs, among with all his biggest hits including of course Tivolilivat.

Tivolilivat with a choir? That would bring tears to my eyes.

This is the best about Gert and the boys, you never know what could happen at one of his concerts.
