I just found out from Dave's Kindakinks site that Ray will be interviewed on Jools Holland tommorow night! Apparently this news has also appeared on Ray's Facebook page. I checked my TV guide magazine and there's so mention of Ray but here's what it does say - BBC 2, 9PM Jools Holland: London CallingJools embarks on a personal journey through the streets, landmarks, pubs, music halls and venues of the capital to uncover the 'London Sound' and the many voices over the centuries that have contributed to it. It's followed by a programme called London Songs At The BBC at 10.15PM, so I guess it's a possibilty that there might be a Kinks performance included, I guess they'd show them doing Waterloo Sunset? I'll definately be watching! Obviously this is being shown in the UK, but I'm sure they'll be links up at some point so you folks overseas can enjoy it too!

I have to say that I was pretty disappointed after watching this last night Most of the musicians included performed a song, such as Damon Albarn and Suggs, but Ray didn't. Infact, he was only on for about 2 and a half minutes - not really what I'd call an interview. I thought we'd get at least 15 minutes of Ray The programme that followed finished with a 70s performance of Waterloo Sunset - no surprise there! For anyone that's interested here is a video that my friend Pete took. Please bear in mind that this was filmed off the TV so the sound quality is not 100% (it's audible though!) but the picture quality is near enough perfect! Ray Talks About London With Jools Holland -

That's ok Tourist, the reason I thought to get my friend to film it was because you'd asked if I'd be recording it!

I did watch the whole show -- it was very entertaining. I know Ray wasn't on much, but they did play some of his songs. And I enjoyed the bit about Madness, and the tribute to Ian Dury at the end.

It wasn't a bad programme but I would've liked more Ray! I enjoyed the song Suggs performed, I think it was called Oranges and Lemons. There's a famous old nursery rhyme called Oranges and Lemons, which mentions the various churchs in London - I remember learning it as a child.
