(Pelvis) Elvis -- In the Ghetto Fine Young Cannibals -- Good Thing Neil Sedaka & Elton John -- Bad Blood I identify with all your hatreds Smiley except "In the Ghetto". I confess I'm an Elvis fan, and I love it. Anyway, two more: -I guess that's why thy call it the blues - E.John -Neil Diamond's Jonathan Livingston Seagull in it's headachey entirety. L

Yes , I love "In The Ghetto", please forgive my whimpiness, but it gives me the goose pumps. On my defense I'll say that I despise Fine Young Cannibals, Queen, and almost every band or artist mentioned in this thread starting with the Cher Trifecta, which is a delightful way to put it.

Fortunately I don't know most songs you talk about!
We Are The Champions? Not sure I've ever heard it...

Fortunately I don't know most songs you talk about! We Are The Champions? Not sure I've ever heard it... Iñaki, it's that song we hear a couple of times a year, each time Real Madrid wins the Spanish Football league and the European Champions League. It's a good song for that purpose. it has a good drunken "sway". L

Of course I know it, I was only joking! Luis, I hope we can hear it again soon in that context. And Nancy, thanks for your offer but I already have it. I remember a few years ago a friend and I used to sing it often changing the lyrics completely to make it a losers song... "And bad mistakes, I've made a lot" and things like that. It may seem silly now, but it was funny considering how old we were.
