I am Midland -- (not necessarily the same thing as "Midwest") The default, lowest-common-denominator American accent that newscasters try to imitate. Me and Jane Pauley. Could be worse. I could sound like an Indiana hick ( like Davd Letterman)

My results were right on the money What American accent do you have? (Best version so far) Northeastern This could either mean an r-less NYC or Providence accent or one from Jersey which doesn't sound the same. (People in Jersey don't call their state "Joisey" in real life)

What American accent do you have?
You have a Northern accent. That could either be the Chicago/Detroit/Cleveland/Buffalo accent (easily recognizable) or the Western New England accent that news networks go for.
Right on the money!

Northeastern for me too!
But one question: why on earth would bag EVER rhyme with vague?
And on the subject of pronunciation, is it just a Family guy thing or does everyone in America pronounce Hyundai as "Hunday"?

Yes, that's how they say it even on the TV ads.
