The Animals - Please Send Me Someone To Love
Promo video of The Animals performing Percy Mayfield’s “Please Send Me Someone To Love” from their 1977 reunion album “Before We Were So Rudely Interrupted”.
In 1975, the original members of The Animals (Eric Burdon, Alan Price, Hilton Valentine, Chas Chandler and John Steel) gathered at Chas Chandler's house in Surrey just outside of London to record the tracks that appear on this album. It was their first new music together for more than a decade. The album wasn't released until two years later on Chandler's Barn label in 1977.

The Animals featuring Alan Price - O Lucky Man
Performed at their reunion tour 1983 in England for the first time. Alan wrote the soundtrack for the film of the same title 1973. It was directed by Lindsay Anderson. It is a British comedy film, intended as an allegory on life in a capitalist society.

The Animals - Please Send Me Someone To Love Promo video of The Animals performing Percy Mayfield’s “Please Send Me Someone To Love” from their 1977 reunion album “Before We Were So Rudely Interrupted”. One of my fave Animals tracks ever. Eric's vocals on this are just smokin'. I liked this first reunion album so much; the other one, Ark, was more disappointing.

I'm glad you liked it, Holly. Eric Burdon is still one of the best singers around.

Somwhere once in an interview Ray once said that " We gotta get out of this place " was his all time favorite song, I can see why because many of his themes reflect that same sentiment...girl we gotta get out of here, there's got to be someplace better than this, if I were superman I'd fly you away The Animals were a very underrated band, one of the all time best to come out of the UK.
